Configuration Notes

We take great care in reconditioning the devices we sell. Generally, unless the buyer needs a clean slate, we want the device to be operational right out of the box, so we developed a set of reference configurations for the deices we encounter often. A detailed configuration note is included with each device. In case you have bought a device from us and misplaced your note, you can download a copy from here. If you don't see your device/software combination below, don't hesitate to contact us.

Notes on Sophos Models

• Sophos devices in SG and XG series with the same model number and revision number are hardware-identical. Sophos distinguished them only because they shipped with different software. So a configuration note for, say, SG 125 will also apply to XG 125.
• For model numbers ending in 5 (85, 105, 115, 125, 135), Revision 1 and Revision 2 are very similar, so as a general rule, configuration notes for one revision will apply to the other. Revision 3, however, is likely to be somewhat different (many Revision 3 models include an SFP port, which changes the port naming scheme).
